Three people have been arrested in Dublin on suspicion of money laundering.
They were detained after a substantial amount of cash was found on the Naas road.
It was recovered when two vehicles were stopped yesterday.
A 41 year old man was arrested, along with two women, aged 29 and 38.
They are currently being held in Clondalkin, Ballyfermot and Ronanstown Garda stations.
A number of follow up searches were then undertaken in the Dublin Area.
The total value of cash seized in this operation is estimated to be in excess of €100,000.
