Three more Irish citizens have been safely evacuated from Afghanistan.
It means a total of 6 Irish citizens have been transported out of the country since the Taliban took control.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says there are still 35 Irish people looking to board flights out of the country.
In a statement, the Department says it hopes to facilitate more evacuations over the coming days.
However, it has warned that access to Kabul airport remains "extremely difficult".
The United Nations is warning that the Afghans most at danger since the Taliban takeover have "no clear way out" of the country.
