A total of €30,000 in cash and an imitation firearm have been seized after a robbery in Co Meath.
Three men have been arrested over the incident.
At 3pm today, gardai intercepted two vehicles on the N3 in Clonee.
It was immediately after a robbery, with a firearm, of a cash-in-transit van in Clonee itself.
A cash box containing 30,000 euro, along with an imitation firearm and an electronic signal blocker, have been recovered.
All three suspects, who are all men in their 30s, were arrested for organised crime offences and are detained at Finglas and Ashbourne Garda Stations.
