Three men have been arrested in Drogheda after a burnt out car was discovered in the Co Louth area.
Gardaí investigating ongoing criminality in the area attended the scene.
During follow-up investigations, three men were arrested in connection with criminal damage.
One man is being detained in Drogheda Garda Station, and the two others are being held at Dundalk Garda Station.
Gardaí have been taking part in 'Operation Stratus' in Drogheda since October 2018.
The operation has focused on tackling crime gangs, along with incidents such as firearms offences, criminal damage and possession of drugs.
