Three men have been arrested and 30 fines issued following a large street party in Limerick City.
"A significant number of Garda units" arrived to College Court at 7:15pm where dozens of students were dancing and drinking on the street.
Gardaí say following "continued and orchestrated non-compliance" with public health regulations - and failing to comply with directions - they were forced to intervene.
Two men, aged in their 20s, were arrested under public order legislation and one man - also aged in his 20s - was arrested under misuse of drugs legislation.
Approximately 30 fines were also issued for breaches of the Health Act.
Videos of the gathering had been posted on social media.
Gardaí say they have started an investigation into identifying the organisers, and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
