3 men have been arrested after €700,000 in cash and a number of drugs were seized in Dublin.
The operation to tackle organised crime took place on Tuesday evening when a car was intercepted on Collins Avenue in Dublin 9.
When the car was searched Gardai found €400,000 in cash which was then seized.
2 men aged 53 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of having been involved in organised crime.
In follow up searches at premises in Dublin and Meath a further €300 thousand in cash was discovered.
Gardai also recovered around €30,000 worth of cocaine and MDMA.
A 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with drug trafficking.
Gardai say 2 million euro in cash has been seized so far this year - designed to impact significantly on particular organised crime gangs.
