Three men in their 30s have been arrested today, as part of a garda investigation into match-fixing in the League of Ireland.
It's after an operation by Gardai, which included support from Interpol.
As part of this operation, two men were arrested in Dublin while a third was arrested in the east of the country.
They were detained on suspicion of Conspiracy to Defraud.
Officers from Interpol's Match-Fixing Task Force travelled to Ireland from it's HQ in France to assist with the operation.
Today's day of action stems from an investigation carried out by the Garda Anti-Bribary and Corruption Unit in 2019, after suspicions of match-fixing in the League of Ireland were reported by the FAI and the European football body UEFA.
Detectives also arrested a man in the north west last week, bringing the total number detained as part of the investigation to 14.
