Files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions on three men arrested in relation to a violent assault on a taxi driver in Dublin.
The driver, who's originally from Pakistan, had to be treated in hospital for non life threatening injuries.
He was attacked after he picked up a fare on the N4 near Palmerstown at around 4 o'clock yesterday morning.
His taxi was stolen, and later found burnt out.
Three men, aged 19, 21 and 28, were arrested shortly afterwards - they were released without charge last night.
