A man has been found guilty of impeding the apprehension or prosecution of his friend, who was convicted on Tuesday for Patricia O'Connor's murder.

Two others, including his daughter Stephanie O'Connor and his ex Louise O'Connor, were also found guilty of the same charge earlier this week.

Following a seven-week trial, Kieran Greene was found guilty of murdering Patricia O'Connor at the home they shared at Mountainview Park in Rathfarnham, Dublin on May 29 2017.

Her remains were found scattered across the Wicklow and Dublin mountains two weeks later.

His partner's daughter Stephanie was found guilty of impeding his apprehension or prosecution by disguising herself as her grandmother to make it look like she was still alive.

Her mother Louise was convicted yesterday of agreeing to or acquiescing in Stephanie adopting that disguise, and this morning, Stephanie's father Keith Johnston was convicted for his role - he helped Mr Greene with the purchase of various tools such as hacksaws and axes which were used to dismember Ms. O'Connor.

Sentencing hearings will take place next month.
