Remote work hubs are on average 5.6 kilometres from homes across the country.
CSO figures show homes in Cork city are closest to the facilities at 1.6 kilometres, with Dublin city and Galway city at just over 2 kilometres.
However, households in Donegal have the furthest to travel to a remote hub at almost 9 kilometres, with County Cork and Meath with distances of 8.4 kilometres.
Just under half of homes in Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow were less than 5km from a remote work hub.
In county Meath, 21% homes were less than 5km from a remote work hub, while in county Cavan it was 34.9%.
The CSO data also look at the level of childcare services, and the distance from people's homes.
On average nationally there is one 1.6 kilometres away from every home, however that varies on a county by county basis.
Again, the cities such as Dublin, Cork and Galway were the closest to childcare.
While, Roscommon, Mayo and Leitrim had the furthest to travel to access the service.
