The hashtag #Texas is now trending in Ireland.
That's because the Texas Rose has been crowned this year's Rose of Tralee.

The 25-year-old was crowned by host Daithi O'Se at the Festival Dome tonight.
Her grandfather was raised on Bere Island off the coast of County Cork, while her grandmother’s parents were from Cork and Longford.
