An intense heatwave with possible record-breaking June temperatures is set to sweep across parts of Europe this week.
France is bracing itself for temperatures which will exceed 40 degrees - with temporary fountains put in place.
Germany, Switzerland and Belgium could all see national records for June broken in the coming days.
Spain meanwhile is facing temperatures of above 35 degrees in large parts of the country, and above 40 in the centre.
Here at home, it's expected to hit 27 degrees by the end of the week.
Tomorrow is expected to be warm and sunny with the odd shower and highs of 24 degrees.
Thursday will be another dry and sunny day with highs of 27 degrees and the same again on Friday.
It's expected to cool down slightly this weekend with sunny spells and showers on Saturday with highs of 25 degrees and on Sunday it will reach 20 degrees.
