A teenage girl has died after collapsing at a gaelic football match in Co Wexford.
14 year old Ciara Ryan was playing an Under 14's football match for Kilanerin GAA Club in Gorey yesterday evening when she became unwell.
She collapsed on the pitch and a paramedic delivered first aid at the scene, before she was rushed to Wexford General Hospital.
It's understood the Gorey Community School student passed away this morning of a suspected brain haemorrhage.
Chairman of Kilanerin GAA, Michael D'Arcy, said the community is in shock and that it's a difficult time for her family and everyone that knew her.
