A post mortem will take place today on the body of a 14 year old boy who died in a farming incident in North Cork.
It happened on the Kilavullen to Glenville road - which is closed while Gardaí carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
At around a quarter to six yesterday evening - the boy was a passenger on a tractor - which was drawing a load of silage on the Kilavullen to Glenville road - when he fell from the vehicle.
The teenager - who's believed to be from the local area - was then airlifted to Cork University Hospital.
He was suffering with serious head injuries - and later died.
The driver of the tractor - a man in his 20s - was uninjured - but was treated for shock.
The scene has been sealed off while Gardaí carry out a forensic examination. Diversions are in place.
