A teenager has been arrested in connection with a serious assault that happened in Dublin City's IFSC area this week.
On Wednesday night, a woman in her 40s was stabbed in the neck while walking home from work.
It happened at around 9:30pm between Georges Dock and Custom House Quay in the IFSC.
The victim remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The juvenile is being detained at Store Street Garda Station.
The Garda investigation is ongoing.
