The President of the TeachersÂ’ Union of Ireland says heÂ’s confident teachers wonÂ’t turn up to training sessions on the new Junior Cycle next week.
TeachersÂ’ unions are to picket the centres where English teachers are to get training on the new curriculum by the Department of Education.
But as part of their plans to obstruct the changes, the two unions are urging members to stay away.
A nationwide lunchtime protest is also being held in the coming weeks.
