Research from the Higher Education Authority found that Education students are the most likely to find a job when they graduate.
93 per cent of recent education graduates were employed within nine months of finishing their course.
It shows that students who studied topics such as literature and philosophy were the least likely to be employed.
The Higher Education Authority survey released today also reveals that 78 per cent of college-goers in Ireland who graduated in 2017 are now working.
14 per cent are in further education or training, 5 per cent are seeking work and 4 per cent are taking part in other activities like travel.
90 per cent of working graduates are finding a job in Ireland.
