TDs will today begin debating a law to hike the cost of health insurance for most people.
Legislation to increase the stamp duty paid by private insurers will be debated in the Dáil this afternoon.
But the Minister for Health is likely to come under pressure for the second vote to increase health insurance costs in less than six weeks.
