It could now be 5 o'clock in the morning before the final Dáil vote on the abortion legislation takes place.
But a first vote on the final stages has yet to take place as deputies continue to debate the suicide clause.
The European Affairs Minister Lucinda Creighton is likely to be the only new revolt on the legislation - joining four others from last week.
In the past hour the sitting of the Dáil was extended until 5am - though Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin wasn't happy:
