Taylor Swift and Coldplay were responsible for an 88% increase in ticket spending in July.
The latest spending report from AIB also shows sales of cinema tickets soared by 132% compared to June, driven by the summer blockbusters, Barbie and Oppenheimer.
Although the amount of money spent in July actually fell by 3%, there was an increase in spending on takeaways and hotel stays.
Spending in fast food restaurants increased 7% year on year compared to a 3% increase in hotels and restaurants, "suggesting people are choosing cheaper dining options".
Cork saw a 5% decrease in spending, while Kerry saw an 8% increase, likely driven by the county's appearance in to the All-Ireland Football Final.
Spending in garages fell year on year by 11% while online spending has increased by 17% in the past year.
The bank said it recorded 70 million debit and credit card transactions last month.
