The Taoiseach says he's still concerned over Brexit.
In a pre-Christmas interview, Leo Varadkar says a lot has been achieved to date in the withdrawal agreement, in terms of the Border and the Common Travel Area.
His comments come as the UK government saw its withdrawal bill passed yesterday, paving the way for its EU exit - a date likely towards the end of January.
However, the Taoiseach says education, housing, health and everything else, depends on our future trading relationship with Britain.
He says the whole question of trade is still very much an open issue and a good trade deal is vital for Ireland's economy to remain buoyant.
