The Taoiseach's defended the actions of the Revenue Commissioners in the way they're collecting the Local Property Tax for next year.
Anyone who pays the tax in a one-off method - by cheque or debit or credit card - will have to inform revenue of this in the next week, and make the payment by the end of November.
Revenue's written to nearly a million homeowners who chose this method for the 2013 tax.
