Boris Johnson's accepted an invitation from the Taoiseach to meet and discuss Brexit in the coming weeks.
A spokesperson for Leo Varadkar confirmed officials from both sides are in contact to agree a date.
They say the meeting will give both sides a chance to better understand each other's position, but any changes to the Withdrawal Agreement is for the UK and EU to discuss.
