The Tánaiste's ruled himself out of the running to be Ireland's next European Commissioner.
However Eamon Gilmore says there's been no discussion about who will replace Maire Geoghegan-Quinn when a new commission takes over next year.
It's thought that Fine Gael's Phil Hogan and Labour's Ruairi Quinn are the frontrunners - assuming Enda Kenny does not put himself forward for the top job in the Commission.
