Superquinn founder Feargal Quinn has died at the age of 82.
Mr Quinn, who was also a former Senator, passed away peacefully at his home in Howth after a short illness.
The former Senator is survived by his wife Denise, their five children and 19 grandchildren.
President Michael D Higgins has described Mr. Quinn as a gifted entrepreneur who transformed the landscape of the retail trade in Ireland".

Business group IBEC says he was a strong advocate of Irish business at home and abroad.
Cystic Fibrosis Ireland is crediting him as being the first champion of the proposed new form of organ donor consent.
