Supermarket Inflation Still At More Than 8%
Grocery inflation has been measured at 8.6% over the past three months.
Figures from Kantar show supermarkets' price increases are still above the rest of the economy.
Throughout November the number of visits to the supermarkets increased - however compared to last year - fewer items are being bought each time.
While the cost of a Christmas dinner for four people has increased by over 3%.
Its expected grocery sales over December will surpass €1.4bn for the first time ever.
And 46% of items bought in stores is own-label products.
