The Transport Minister is calling on Dublin Bus management and trade unions to work to avoid a strike at the company.
Members of SIPTU and the National Bus and Rail Union are threatening to mount industrial action from Sunday - over a cost cutting plan.
Dublin Bus says the strike will result in major disruption for passengers - as it will be unable to provide services.
