As stormy conditions continue around the country Met Eireann has put in place a status Orange weather warning for the entire country.
Cork city is this morning dealing with flooding around the city centre after a tidal surge.
Some roads around Cork city, Kinsale, Cobh and Carrigaline were left impassable yesterday after high tides caused the River Lee to overflow - 4 homes in the Proby's Quay area of the city had to be evacuated.
Much of the flooding receded last night, with many diversions lifted but another high tide is due at just after 6.30 this morning.
High winds have also had an impact on electricity supply with homes along the west and south coasts experiencing loss of power.
In Belfast, police are telling people to prepare to evacuate in areas of the city if - as forecast - there's a tidal surge.
