Storm Agnes makes landfall this morning with a series of weather warnings in place on Wednesday.
A Status Yellow wind warning in place for Leinster, Munster and Galway, along with a separate rain warning for counties Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow. Both of these warnings are in place until midnight on Wednesday.

A Status Orange wind alert for Cork, Kerry, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Tipperary and Waterford in in place from 9am until 5pm on Wednesday.
Cork, Kerry and Waterford will also be placed under a Status Orange rain warning from 9am until 3pm on Wednesday.
Met Éireann is warning of the potential for localised flooding, difficult travel conditions, fallen trees and power outages in places throughout the day.
