The Education Minister says she can't yet confirm a date for the Junior Cert results - three months on from when the exams were completed
Norma Foley says they'll be in a better position to announce a date once the Leaving Cert appeals process is completed, which will have results issued on Friday.
She said ultimately it'll be the state examination commission which will make the decision.
Around 68,000 students sat Junior Cert back in June, and are yet to hear the outcome.
"There is great anticipation and excitement of that date", she said today.
