A status Orange rainfall warning has been issued for four counties in Munster.
The alert for Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Waterford will kick in at 7pm tonight.
Met Eireann is warning of very heavy rain from then until 9pm tomorrow night.

The national forecaster is warning that the rain will likely cause further river flooding and surface water flooding.
Meanwhile, from 9 o'clock tonight the rest of the country will come under a status yellow rainfall alert.
Heavy rain is expected in the 22 counties over the following 24 hours.
A status yellow wind warning for all of Munster Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo will also start at 9pm tonight and last until 6am tomorrow.
