Heavy rain is expected in Waterford, Wicklow, and Wexford tonight as Met Eireann has issued a status orange rain warning.
The forecaster says after heavy rain already today there will be more accumulations tonight with flooding possible in places.
It will run until 6am tomorrow morning.
A similar yellow alert is already in place for Kildare, Laois, Kerry, Cork, Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary.

Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly is warning of dangerous driving conditions.
"With leaves on trees falling on drains, those drains can become blocked leading to localised flooding."

Alan says the west and the north "should escape the worst of it".
But her promised it will be "a very wet day for many people".
