The smartphone has been voted the best invention over the past 20 years by Today FM Ski Trippers.
When the Ski trip first began in the year 2000, there were no iPhones, no one had heard of WhatsApp and people were still taping programmes off the telly!
As part of our BAD (Buckley's Austrian Data) research, we decided to ask the temporary residents of Bad Hofgastein what was their favourite invention over the past 20 years and we got some brilliant responses, including dry shampoo, a steam mop, hair straighteners, and Google Home.
But it was the smartphone that came out on top with 65% of the votes, WhatsApp came second with 25% while Netflix was voted the third favourite invention.
