People travelling to Shannon Airport are being advised to allow extra travel time due to the State Visit of the US Vice President.
Additional security measures are in place around the airport from now until 12 noon on Wednesday.
Here's what the Airport has to say about the visit:

As we prepare for the US Vice President's visit we would ask ALL visitors to allow 15 minutes extra time when travelling to the airport.

Mike Pence is expected to arrive in Co. Clare this afternoon.
The US Vice President will meet Tanaiste Simon Coveney.
He will then meet with President Michael D. Higgins and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar in Dublin tomorrow.
