Shane Lowry will be welcomed home to his native Clara, Co. Offaly this evening following his success at the Open.
The 32-year-old became only the fifth Irish player in the championship's 148-year history to lift the claret jug.
Shane will return home to Clara GAA club with the prize at 6pm.

Lowry claimed victory by six shots at Royal Portrush yesterday.
He'd missed the cut at the event for the past four years.
The party in Clara continues tomorrow at 6pm.
