The President of Sinn Féin says the Dáil's bar needs to cut back on opening hours.
Gerry Adams was responding to reports that TDs spent up to €10,000 in the Leinster House bars on the nights of the abortion debate.
Deputy Adams says it's now clear that some TDs were under the influence of alcohol on the night of the vote.
He says politicians need to consider their behaviour while they consider new laws.
He was speaking as Sinn Féin met in Louth for its pre-Dail think-in.
The party is preparing an alternative budget with a total of around €2.5 billion in measures - less than the €3.1 billion being considered by the government.
