Seven guns have been seized by Gardai in Dublin.
They were recovered yesterday evening in an area located in the west of the capital.
The seizure was made as part of an operation targeting people suspected to be associated with serious organised criminal activity.
The 7 firearms have been conveyed to the Garda National Technical Bureau.

Gardai say the GNTB will not carry out a technical examination of the guns.
Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll, Organised and Serious Crime says the operation "reflects the Garda Síochána's unrelenting efforts in tackling serious and organised crime."
He says it also highlights their "determination to keep people safe from those who would use firearms to endanger life."
