Wreckage of the plane carrying missing footballer Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson has been found in the English Channel.
The plane went missing on January 21st while flying from Nantes in France to Cardiff in Wales.
Air searches failed to find any sign of the aircraft, prompting search teams to start examining the seabed.
It included a privately funded search team working alongside the UK's Air Accidents Investigation Branch.
On Twitter this evening, search leader David Mearns confirmed the wreckage has been found.
Wreckage of the plane carrying Emiliano Sala and piloted by David Ibbotson was located early this morning by the FPV MORVEN. As agreed with the AAIB they moved the GEO OCEAN III over the position we provided them to visually identify the plane by ROV. #EmilianoSala

He said: "The families of Emiliano Sala and David Ibbotson have been notified by police.
"The AAIB will be making a statement tomorrow. Tonight our sole thoughts are with the families and friends of Emiliano and David."
28-year-old Sala made Cardiff City club history when he was bought for a record fee of €20.4m on a three-and-a-half year deal from Nantes only days before the plane went missing.
Cardiff City owner Tan Sri Vincent Tan said news of his disappearance "shook everyone at Cardiff City FC to the core".
