The search for missing Irish teenager Nóra Quoirin is in its eighth day in Malaysia.
However, authorities are still no closer to a breakthrough.
They have said they are increasingly concerned about the welfare of the 15-year-old, who has special needs.
A Malaysian Police official told a press conference on Saturday: "We are very worried about [her] welfare - we don't know how long she can survive".
Police have questioned a taxi driver who took Nóra's family to the resort.
Homes of the resort staff have also been searched as part of the investigation.
More than 300 people have been taking part in the search operation over the past week.
