The search for Fungie was suspended last night after volunteers failed to see Dingle's famous dolphin.
Rescue divers spent yesterday searching the sea bed in Dingle Harbour for any trace of Fungie.
Mallow Search and Rescue was asked to join their efforts to find help find him with the team using SONAR to scan the sea bed and sent divers below to look for clues.
This is the longest time he has been missing since making the area his home 37 years ago.
The last reported sighting was by a fisherman last Thursday.
Jimmy Flannery from Dingle Sea Safari and Dingle Dolphin Tours says he's never disappeared for this long: 'At this stage, this is totally out of character. I'm doing this for the last 33 years and in all that time he's never disappeared for this length of time. It's very very worrying at this stage'
