The search for a lobster fisherman, missing off the south east coast has been stood down for the night.
The man, who had over 30 years experience at sea, was reported missing after his empty boat was found near the Saltee islands at lunchtime today.
The RNLI lifeboat from Kilmore Quay and the Waterford search and rescue helicopter had been searching for the missing man throughout the afternoon accompanies by around a dozen local fishing vessels.
A large group of locals have been waiting for news on the quayside at Kilmore.
