The Seanad's been holding an emergency sitting to debate Ireland's system of organ donation.
Fianna Fáil has arranged today's debate in an effort to rescind laws signed by the Minister for Health last year.
The party wants to set up a separate national authority to regulate organ donation and transplants in Ireland.
However some members of the government parties say the sitting is a waste of time.
