Santina Cawley has been laid to rest at St Catherine's Cemetary in Kilkully after her funeral mass in the North Cathedral in Cork this morning.
Santina's father Michael stood with his daughter's small white coffin throughout her funeral mass this morning and at times rested his head on it.
The two year old was remembered as being full of joy and laughter.
Celebrant Father Oscar O'Leary says Santina was her mother Bridget's angel: 'She says of Santina "she was my angel, she always made me smile and laugh she always knew what she wanted and she was very fond on Tellytubbies"
Santina Cawley died last Friday after she was found with serious injuries at the Elderwood apartment complex on the Boreenmana Rd in Cork
She was rushed to hospital where she later died.
A murder investigation was launched after a post mortem exam.
A woman in her 30s was arrested earlier this week but has since been released without charge.
Gardai have made a fresh appeal for information.
