The 25 year old woman - feared to have been a teenage victim of sex trafficking - is on her way home to Australia.
Samantha Azzopardi had been in the care of the state after being found in a distressed state on O'Connell St in Dublin last month.
The High Court decided today that she was free to leave the care of the HSE after after a psychiatric evaluation found there was no basis to commit her.
She left Dublin on a plane bound for Australia in the past hour, her repatriation is being facilitated by Gardai
