Ryanair says it'll bring in 1 million passengers next year thanks to the scrapping of the €3 travel tax.
The low fares airline say the increase will help create 1000 jobs, 200 by the company itself.
Ryanair says its now in talks with the six Irish airports to see how the growth plan can be split between them.
Chief Operations Officer Michael Cawley says the budget decision was a good one.
