It's unclear how many Irish customers have been affected by a Ryanair ban over refunds.
The airline is barring passengers who it says received "unlawful" refunds for flights they didn't avail of during the pandemic, until they give the money back.
Aviation expert, Eoghan Corry, says the airline is arguing people followed "advice" not "instructions" from the government not to travel last year.
"When people chose not to travel and the plane still took off, they were not liable for a refund".
Some customers, who booked via their credit card, received a refund from the credit card.
