RTÉ has revealed its ten top paid presenters for 2022.
There's also been some re-stated earnings for 2021, off the back of the payments controversy at the State broadcaster last year.
Ryan Tubridy remained the highest paid presenter, earning €515,000 in 2022. Joe Duffy is the second-highest paid presenter on €351,000.
RTE Radio One's Claire Byrne's earnings dropped from €350,000 to €320,833.
Miriam O'Callaghan was paid €263,500 in 2022. Ray D'Arcy had earnings €250,000, which was €200,000 less than in 2019, when he earned €450,000
Brenan O'Connor is in sixth place at €245,004.
The top six highest paid presenters are all contractors which means they aren't treated as RTÉ staff.
Bryan Dobson, Mary Wilson, Daragh Maloney and George Lee make up the remainder of the list all getting between €179,000 and €209,000. They are all RTÉ employees.
Communications specialist Terry Prone, says Irish people love talking about the pay of presenters.
" The one thing we're always eager to know is, what's your man getting paid?
"And every other broadcaster says, he's getting way too much.
"I could do that job, no bother. So it's a wonderful morning to be envious and annoyed about the figures.
"But in fact, the figures are going in the right direction, the direction of reality."
