The Rotunda Hospital says visiting hours for the partners of pregnant women will be extended from Monday.
The maternity hospital says partners will now be allowed into the hospital from 8am to 8pm each day.
Some restrictions will remain in place - with partners unable to attend the likes of antenatal appointments and early pregnancy scans "due to space constraints".
Today's announcement comes amid criticism of the hospital allowing a film crew on site while restrictions on partner visits remained in place.
The issue was highlighted this week, after the first episode of the new series of The Rotunda was broadcast on RTÉ.
The hospital's decision to allow filming to proceed has been criticised by expectant parents, as well as several Government politicians.
A spokesperson for the hospital has said minimal numbers of crew were on site, and filming in delivery suites took place through cameras operated remotely.
