Rory McIlroy has won golf's career grand slam after winning the Masters in Augusta.
The 35-year-old has made history becoming the first man from the island of Ireland to wear the famous green jacket.
President Michael D Higgins has described the win as a 'truly outstanding achievement'.
He won a play-off against England's Justin Rose on Sunday, describing it is the greatest moment of his career.
"It's a dream come true.
"I've dreamt about that moment for as long as I can remember.
"And honestly, you know, what came out of me on the last green there in the playoff was, at least 11 years, if not 14 years of pent up emotion".
A long time coming. Congratulations, Rory. #themasters pic.twitter.com/f72nOxQbfw

McIlroy just edged ahead after a final round of 73 left him on 11 under par for the tournament.
The Northern Irishman went into the final round with a 2 shot lead which he lost on the first hole, thanks to a double bogey.
Having recovered to lead by 4 around the turn, a missed putt on the 18th meant an extra hole with Rose was needed to end his 11-year wait for the career Grand Slam.
He bested the Englishman on their return to the final hole to win a fifth Major and add to victories at the Open, US PGA and US Open to complete the 'grand slam' set.
He's just the sixth player of all-time to complete the sport's Grand Slam with success in all four major tournaments.
Only Tiger Woods, Gene Sarazen, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Ben Hogan have achieved that feat in the last 90 years.
