Rodents, ants, wasps and flies were found in the Coombe Hospital in Dublin during inspections over the past 18 months.
Details released under Freedom of Information show the maternity hospital was forced to close a shower room due to rodent sightings.
Rodents and insects were logged on the hospital maintenance system over the past year and a half.
The hospital has spent more than €20,000 on pest-control services. Bait boxes were used by pest-control companies in high-risk areas within a hospital facility.
